Manager Tata Martino from Inter Miami has underlined that the squad would not take any “risk” with Lionel Messi, their injured captain. On Sunday, July 14, Argentina’s 2024 Copa America final triumph against Colombia in Miami left the 37-year-old with a swollen ankle.

Messi started the game for the current champions but had to leave the field midway through the second half as it went into extra time.
