**Doncaster Rovers Sign Brandon Hanlan on Two-Year Deal**

Doncaster Rovers have confirmed the signing of striker Brandon Hanlan from Wycombe Wanderers on a two-year contract, with the move set to take effect from July 1, 2025.

The 28-year-old forward will officially join the League One side upon the expiration of his contract with Wycombe at the end of June. Hanlan becomes Doncaster’s first summer signing as manager Grant McCann looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the 2025–26 campaign.

Hanlan, who began his professional career at Charlton Athletic, brings with him a wealth of experience across the EFL. After loan spells with Colchester United and Bromley, he made a permanent switch to Gillingham in 2018, where he scored 16 goals in 84 appearances. He later spent time with Bristol Rovers before joining Wycombe Wanderers in 2021.

During his time at Wycombe, Hanlan made 111 appearances and netted 16 goals. However, his progress was halted in November 2023 when he suffered a serious ACL injury, sidelining him for almost a year. He made a successful return to action in November 2024 and spent the second half of the 2024–25 season on loan at Stevenage, where he featured 16 times and scored twice.

Doncaster boss Grant McCann expressed his excitement at securing Hanlan’s signature, describing him as a “quick and powerful forward who can score all types of goals.” He added that Hanlan’s experience and physical presence would be key assets for Rovers in the upcoming season.

Hanlan also spoke of his enthusiasm for the move, stating: “I’m really happy to be joining Doncaster. It’s a club with ambition, and I’m looking forward to contributing to a successful season.”

The signing adds further firepower to Doncaster’s frontline as they aim to push for promotion in their return

to League One.
