from Carthage, Tex. and is the No. 196 overall recruit from his class. He’s also the No. 11 overall linebacker and No. 25 athlete out of Texas. Gabe Brooks of 247Sports wrote in his scouting report of the rising senior that he’s a “physical off-ball linebacker prospect” with impressive speed, power, and overall athleticism. In the NCAA, regardless of where he committed, Beck is expected to be a multi-year starter and has NFL potential long-term.

As a Carthage Bulldog, Beck earned Defensive MVP of the 2024-25 4A Division II State Championship game. He had 10 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and

one sack in the contest against Waco La Vega. Beck helped lead his team to the high school program’s 10th state championship.

He first visited College Station back in January. Beck said to On3 that he and the coaching staff developed a very good

relationship, specifically assistant coach Trooper Taylor and defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Jay

Bateman. Beck also has connections with the Aggies through a teammate who already committed to Texas A&M: KJ Edwards.

Beck is the second linebacker commit for the Aggies after three-star Storm MIller’s announcement back on April 2.
