West Ham vs Chelsea: Latest team news, predicted lineup and injuries

Jadon Sancho is hoping to make his debut start for Chelsea against West Ham United this weekend. Sancho, who returned to London on loan from Manchester United, came off the bench to assist Christopher Nkunku’s late winner at Bournemouth on Saturday. Sancho created plenty of issues down the left after replacing Pedro Neto in the second half at the Vitality Stadium, and he will hope his performance earns him a spot in the starting lineup in east London. Several Chelsea players, including Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Enzo Fernandez, Malo Gusto, and Romeo Lavia, are scheduled to return to full training.

Gusto suffered a thigh injury in the match with Crystal Palace before the international break, thus Axel Disasi started at right-back against Bournemouth.

The Frenchman’s comeback will be very welcomed, especially given the news that Reece James is still not ready to rejoin to the squad. The Chelsea captain has not played this season owing to a hamstring injury and a suspension carried over from the previous season.
