When asked if the Lions could defeat the Chiefs, Tom Brady

The Kansas City Chiefs remain the best team in the NFL this 2024 season, but if they end up facing the Detroit Lions, Tom Brady isn’t counting out the NFC franchise.

After the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in their Week 7 showdown-a game that TB12 covered and served as commentator for FOX Sports-Brady’s son Benjamin asked the NFL legend if he thinks the Lions can take down Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City.

While Brady didn’t provide a definitive answer, he didn’t hide his belief in the Lions and what they are capable of.

“I think the Lions are pretty freaking good,” Brady told his kid, as seen in the YouTube video he uploaded on Thursday.

The Chiefs remain unbeaten after six games, and that’s despite all the injury issues and struggles they have dealt with early in the season. With that said, there’s no denying that they remain the heavy favorites to win it all.

However, Tom Brady has been vocal about his admiration for the Lions. In fact, when he was in the booth for Detroit’s Week 6 showdown with the Dallas Cowboys, he praised Dan Campbell’s team and called them the best team in the NFC. Brady even said he would have loved to be the quarterback of the Lions because of how good their offense is.

Unfortunately for Brady and NFL fans, the Lions and Chiefs don’t have a scheduled game this season. With that said, the only way they could see them play each other this campaign is if both teams make it to the Super Bowl.

Sure enough, that would be an interesting battle to watch.
