π¨ Breaking Vikings News! π¨ We just added a BIG piece to our offensive line! Get the details on Vershon Lee’s signing!
Vershon Lee, a former o-lineman for the South Carolina Gamecocks, was signed by the Vikings on Friday.
The Vikings cut S Bubba Bolden to make place for Lee.

Throughout his time in college, Lee participated in 51 games and started 40 of them (18 at centre, 16 at left guard, and 6 at right tackle). After not being taken in the 2025 NFL Draft, he was welcomed by Minnesota on a Top 30 visit and took part in a tryout with the Vikings on Thursday.
Lee was named a Rex Enright permanent team captain following the 2024 season, having started all 13 of South Carolina’s centre games. In addition, he was a co-recipient of the SEC’s Community Service Award and listed on the Fall Academic Honour Roll.
Pro Football Focus gave Lee strong run-blocking ratings in 2024 (71.4) and 2023 (72.0). He was slightly taller than 6′ 3″ and weighed 304 pounds at the Gamecocks Pro Day in March. Lee completed 28 bench press repetitions with 225 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 5.12 seconds.
Lee, a product of Woodbridge, Virginia, was first invited to rookie minicamp by Chicago and Kansas City.
