The Florida Gators’ efforts to acquire elite recruits are paying off handsomely, and they are now dominating the recruiting trail.
They are now ranked 13th in the country, which is a direct result of head coach Billy Napier’s excellent work in encouraging youngsters to commit early on. Trenton Henderson, an exceptional edge rusher, has officially listed the Gators in his top three along with Texas and LSU, thus they are also moving high.
According to the On3 Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Gators are expected to sign Henderson, who is ranked 59th overall and 11th among edge rushers in the 2026 class, at 86.2%, followed by Texas (2.1%) and LSU (1.3%).
His scouting report sounds just like the kind of speed rushers the Gators are looking for.
Henderson has only visited the Gators once, but they left a lasting impression on him, which may help them land him if he decides to commit.
