Islanders head coach Patrick Roy Speaks on Bo Horvat gruesome injury sustained and possible return date
Islanders head coach Patrick Roy told reporters after the game that Bo Horvat is “day to day.”
Given the severity of the injury, many are skeptical of that timeline. It appears Roy is keeping Horvat listed as day to day while he undergoes further evaluation from the medical staff.
A clearer update on his condition is expected this weekend. Horvat exited tonight’s game against the Anaheim Ducks after suffering what looked like a serious left knee injury and did not return.
