After earning commitments from four-star linebacker Shardarious Toodle, four-star edge Khamari Brooks, and three-star edge Corey Howard, Georgia continues its legendary recruiting week with Jae Lamar’s announcement.

Jae Lamar is a four-star running back who is ranked as the number 107 player and the number 8 running back nationally by 247 composite. Lamar is 6’0 and weighs 205 pounds. He attends Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Georgia. The highly regarded tailback chose the Bulldogs over Miami, Clemson, and Auburn.
Georgia’s first running back recruit for the 2026 class will offer explosiveness to the Bulldogs’ offence with outstanding speed and vision. Georgia will seek to make it five days in a row with a commitment of Craig Dandridge, an in-state wide receiver prospect, will announce his commitment tomorrow.
Georgia now has 21 overall commits in the class. They hounded the trail throughout June and are likely not done yet, with numerous others preparing to make announcements. With over 20 commits, Georgia is on the verge of potentially wrapping up their class.
