This season, the Georgia Bulldogs should feature a number of exceptional players. Seven Georgia athletes were selected by sportswriter Phil Steele for his 2025 Preseason All-American teams, with at least one Bulldog on each of the four squads.

Georgia has 14 players invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine

Daylen Everette, a cornerback, and Brett Thorson, a punter, made the starting lineup. Long snapper Beau Gardner and linebacker CJ Allen were selected for the second team. Safety KJ Bolden was on the third team, while defensive tackle Christen Miller and kicker Peyton Woodring were on the fourth.

Thorson was ninth in the nation with an average of 47.6 yards per punt. He consequently made it to the Ray Guy Award finals. Everette missed the spring game due to surgery for a sports hernia, but he should be fully recovered before the start of the season. He recorded three interceptions in 2024, more than any other Georgia Bulldog.

But none of Georgia’s offensive players were selected to either of the All-America teams. The Georgia running game, which finished second to last in the SEC in rushing yards per game the previous season, is looking to do better as the team moves from Carson Beck to either redshirt junior Gunner Stockton or redshirt freshman Ryan Puglisi at quarterback.
