Ottawa Redblacks sign trio of players after final CFL roster reductions
Ottawa Redblacks have added three new players following the CFL’s final roster cutdown, signing American receiver Binjimen Victor, Global defensive lineman Kemari Munier-Bailey, and American linebacker Aaron Casey, the club confirmed on Monday.
Victor arrives in Ottawa after being released by the Edmonton Elks during their final roster trims. The 29-year-old played 12 games in 2025, finishing the season with 32 receptions for 331 yards and one touchdown. The 6-foot-4 receiver joined Edmonton as a free agent last year after previous spells with the New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, and Birmingham Stallions.

Munier-Bailey joins the Redblacks after being let go by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The UK-born defensive lineman, who was selected second overall in the 2025 CFL Global Draft, appeared in one game as a rookie, recording a tackle on defence and another on special teams. He played college football at Weber State, Idaho, and Fresno State.
Casey also heads to Ottawa after his release from the Toronto Argonauts. In 2025, he featured in 15 regular-season games, registering 36 tackles, six sacks, and a forced fumble. The 6-foot-2 linebacker played at Indiana before spending time with the Cincinnati Bengals.
In a corresponding move, the Redblacks also released American receiver Rory Starkey, who had recently been listed on the practice roster.
