Country singer Dasha lined up for major Stampede Bowl performance in Calgary
The Calgary Stampeders have officially unveiled country music star Dasha as the halftime performer for this year’s Stampede Bowl, continuing the club’s push to embrace major entertainment trends around the annual event.
The California-born artist will headline halftime festivities in Calgary, bringing one of country music’s fastest-rising names to the CFL showcase.

Dasha has surged in popularity thanks to her breakout hit “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’)”, a track that exploded across social media and sparked a viral dance craze on TikTok. The success of the song helped propel her into mainstream attention, with the single achieving multi-platinum success and earning major recognition within the country music industry.
Her growing influence was further highlighted after receiving Female Song of the Year honours at the People’s Choice Country Awards, while also becoming only the second solo female country artist to surpass one billion streams for a single track.
The 26-year-old has quickly established herself as one of the genre’s standout rising acts. She recently completed a sold-out global headlining tour, Dashville USA, further cementing her popularity among fans.
Dasha has also performed on some of television’s biggest stages, including appearances during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve celebrations.
Beyond her solo success, the singer has shared stages with several of country music’s biggest stars, including Thomas Rhett and Kane Brown, adding further credibility to her growing reputation.
Her addition to the Stampede Bowl lineup is expected to add extra excitement to one of Calgary’s marquee sporting events as the Stampeders combine football with a major musical attraction for fans in attendance.
