Kirby Smart & Dawg Nation Respond: What Khamari Brooks’ Commitment Means for UGA Football! ๐
Khamari Brooks, a four-star edge rusher recruit who chose the Georgia Bulldogs over the Alabama Crimson Tide, committed to the team. After Brooks committed, Georgia boasts the second-best recruiting class in the SEC, behind the Texas A&M Aggies, and the fourth-best recruiting class in the nation.

Brooks, who plays football for North Oconee High School in Bogart, Georgia, is a gifted tight end and pass rusher. The Georgia Bulldogs’ home field, Sanford Stadium, is roughly 20 minutes from North Oconee.
In the 2024 high school football season, Brooks and North Oconee took home a 4A state title. Despite his impressive effort in North Oconee’s state championship victory, Brooks wasn’t finished yet. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound pass rusher led North Oconee to a 4A state basketball championship with 10 points and nine rebounds.
According to Brent Rollins of UGASports.com, “The brain is beyond ELITE!!” Physical prowess is amazing. “Khamariโs mind is his superpower and heโs on the Mount Rushmore of competitively intelligent kids Iโve ever coached or been around.”
