Alabama Insider Reveals: Which Big Ten Coach Just Got Compared to the GOAT, Nick Saban?!
Justice Haynes, a running back who used to play for Alabama, hasn’t even played a game for Michigan coach Sherrone Moore yet, but Haynes is already drawing important similarities.
Haynes said that Moore was like Nick Saban. Haynes played his first season of college football with the Crimson Tide in 2023.
“In many ways, he makes me think of a young Nick Saban,” Haynes told On3. “He’s going to hit it with you.” He’ll enjoy being with you. But there are also times when you should be serious and follow the rules. Everything around there is focused on following rules. Everyone else in the country trains like we do. We work more than anyone else in the country and know how to run the ball and stop the run. We’re proud of that, and that’s what made me make my choice in the end. I knew they would put a lot of value on running back, and I was sure I could do well in the offence.
