Alabama has a lot of momentum in the recruiting process thanks to Kalen DeBoer. That momentum is about to pay off with a bunch of pledges from top targets in the 2026 class.

The best player in Alabama’s class looks like it will come from talents in the state. Alabama already has 5-star CB Jorden Edmons committed, and they are still in the running (or fully leading) for 5-star out-of-state prospects Jireh Edwards and Xavier Griffin. The Crimson Tide is very close to possibly getting the top three players in the state.

Five-star running back Ezavier Crowell is expected to commit to Alabama later on Thursday. Five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan is anticipated to join him the following week. Additionally, one recruiting insider claims that DeBoer and his team are now setting the standard for 5-star EDGE Anthony “Tank” Jones:

Jones’ recruitment is far from over, as Newberg states in the video. Miami (FL), Texas A&M, and Oregon have all pushed to have Jones leave the state. Auburn is also still pursuing the goal. Until he signs a financial assistance contract with his preferred school, all of those institutions will keep recruiting him.
