Boston Bruins Receive Major Boost as Pastrnak and McAvoy Near Return

The Boston Bruins got a wave of positive injury news on Monday, as stars David Pastrnak and Charlie McAvoy each made major strides in their recovery.

McAvoy skated in a regular jersey for the first time since suffering a fractured jaw, while Pastrnak returned to the ice in a red non-contact sweater as he continues to work his way back.

The encouraging developments didn’t stop there — both players stayed on the ice for the team’s full practice session and were active participants, signalling they are getting close to returning to game action.

The Bruins have also confirmed that Pastrnak and McAvoy will travel with the team on their upcoming road trip, another indication that their comebacks are not far off.

While no official return dates have been announced, both players said they are hopeful of appearing at some point during the trip.
