Edmonton Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch breaks silence and shares latest update on injured goalie Tristan Jarry

Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch confirmed after tonight’s game that goaltender Tristan Jarry will be evaluated by the team’s medical staff on Wednesday.

Jarry exited the Oilers’ matchup against the Boston Bruins with what appeared to be a lower-body injury.

The goaltender left the game after sliding across the crease, a movement that seemed to aggravate something in his lower half. He did not return and was replaced by backup netminder Calvin Pickard.

Further updates on Jarry’s condition are expected following medical evaluation, with Knoblauch set to provide more information post-game.
