Brutal injury news strikes Vancouver Canucks as Kiefer Sherwood setback emerges
The Vancouver Canucks have been dealt a significant blow after head coach Adam Foote revealed that Kiefer Sherwood will be out of the lineup for the rest of the month, and possibly into February.
Foote admitted the team can only speculate on a return date, suggesting the forward could be unavailable for anywhere between one and three weeks.
The coach acknowledged the situation does not appear encouraging as Sherwood continues his recovery.
