Reason explained why The Olympic hockey match between Finland and Canada was postponed
The women’s hockey game between Canada and Finland at the 2026 Winter Olympics has been postponed to February 12 at the Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena.

The decision came after Finland reported multiple cases of norovirus, leaving them with just 13 healthy players and unable to field a full roster.
The IOC, IIHF, and organizing committee said the move prioritizes the health and safety of players, staff, and officials.
Fans on social media largely agree with the decision, though some argue Finland should forfeit if they can’t compete.
