Alabama Dominates Preseason Honors: Three Tide Stars Named All-Americans!
Two first teams and one second team have been chosen for the Crimson Tide for the 2025 season.
Three Alabama Crimson Tide football players were named to the Walter Camp Preseason All-American team on Tuesday. Two players were picked for the first team on offense, and one player was picked for the second team on defense.
Ahead of the season, wide receiver Ryan Williams and tackle Kadyn Proctor were both picked for the first team. Williams had 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns as a true freshman. He also ran four times for 48 yards and two more scores. Proctor has started at left tackle for the Crimson Tide for the past two years. As a freshman, he was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team, and as a sophomore in 2024, he was named to the Second Team All-SEC.
Lineman Tim Keenan III was picked for the second team defense. Keenan has played in 29 games for the Crimson Tide over the course of three seasons and has become one of the most reliable players on the team. In 2024, he had 79 stops, with 9.5 of them being for a loss.
Along with Texas and Clemson, Alabama is the only school with three selections. The SEC has the most selections of any conference with sixteen.
The NCAA uses five different services to figure out the consensus and unanimous standing at the end of the year. Walter Camp is one of them. For a player to get consensus rank, three publications must choose them.
