Bo Levi Mitchell will return to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2026 after agreeing to a two-year extension that includes a $100,000-plus pay raise.
The 35-year-old QB received a $210,000 signing bonus, a $210,000 base salary, $40,000 in marketing funds, $15,300 for housing, and a $10,000 travel allowance, bringing his guaranteed earnings to $485,300.

He also has up to $30,000 in performance incentives, potentially raising his total compensation to $515,300.
Mitchell ranks fifth among CFL starting quarterbacks in pay for 2026. Last season, he completed 68.3% of his passes for 5,296 yards with 36 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, helping Hamilton finish first in the East Division.
Over his 13-year career, Mitchell has accumulated 44,319 passing yards and 262 touchdowns, while winning two Grey Cups, two Grey Cup MVPs, and two Most Outstanding Player awards.
