Four Possible NHL teams that could land Russian ice hockey player Artemi Panarin
The New York Rangers signaled a shift in direction on Friday, with reports indicating they will not offer star forward Artemi Panarin a new contract.
The question now is which teams could convince Panarin to waive his no-move clauseand meet the trade requirements set by Rangers GM Chris Drury.
Drury sent a clear message to fans in a letter on Friday, hinting at major changes to a team that has underperformed this season.

According to a follow-up report from Sportsnet, the Rangers do not plan to extend Panarin’s contract before he becomes a UFA this summer.
The news was not unexpected, as the Blueshirts have fallen to last place in the Eastern Conference, and Panarin has shown no interest in taking a pay cut to stay in New York.
