John Beecher was frank in admitting that his Bruins tenure is now over.
When the Boston Bruins decided to put former first-rounder John Beecher on waivers, it caught many people off guard, especially given the growing list of injuries the team is dealing with. Elias Lindholm is already on injured reserve, and on Monday the team added Casey Mittlestadt and Viktor Arvidsson to the IR list as well.

The plan was to waive Beecher so he could be reassigned to the Providence Bruins of the AHL, but that never happened. Before he could report, the Calgary Flames claimed him off waivers, offering the young forward a fresh opportunity with a new organization.
