Worrying update emerges for the Maple Leafs as Anthony Stolarz’s injury status is confirmed
Initial hopes that Anthony Stolarz would make a swift return to action have faded, as the Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender remains sidelined with an upper-body injury. Stolarz has been out of the lineup since leaving the team’s 5-3 defeat to the Boston Bruins on November 11.

At first, there was little alarm, and some speculated that his early exit may have been performance-related rather than injury-related. However, three games have passed since that match, and Stolarz has yet to resume skating.
He was anticipated to return to the ice on Thursday, but Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has indicated that the injury is more serious than initially thought. As a result, there is currently no clear timeline for when the goaltender will be able to rejoin the team
