Buffalo Sabres Center Tage Thompson outmatches Stefan Noesen in a hard-hitting showdown
It’s not often that New Jersey Devils forward Stefan Noesen — at 6’1″ and 210 pounds — is the smaller player in an NHL scuffle. But this afternoon he looked undersized going up against Buffalo Sabres towering 6’7″, 220-pound Tage Thompson. The two exchanged punches in a lively scrap, with Thompson ultimately coming out on top.
