BEYOND THE FIELD: Aaron Jones Delivers Game-Changing Inspiration to Next Generation of Footballers! 🔥
Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Dakota News Now) Former Augustana Viking C.J. Ham is not the only Minnesota Viking running back having a football camp in Sioux Falls this summer; his backfield mate Aaron Jones is also in town today.
The Vikings’ running back staged his own youth football camp at O’Gorman High School this afternoon for kids aged 6 to 16, which included essential skill stations, talks, contests, and other rewards.
At the end of the camp, he told the youngsters to believe in themselves no matter where they came from, to listen to positive voices, and to ignore negative ones.
“Let that go into one ear and out the other. If you’re driven and know where you want to go, you’ve got to be a little crazy about it, but your actions must also reflect that. I’m living proof that you don’t have to be the biggest, the tallest, or the fastest—although I like to think I’m very quick! But they cannot measure your heart! Always believe in yourself, work hard, and listen to your professors and parents. “They have your best interests at heart.” Aaron stated.
When Jones reports to Minnesota Vikings training camp on July 26th, he will begin his seventh NFL season and second with the team. He rushed for 1,138 yards and five touchdowns last season.
