Positive recruiting sentiments for Michigan football, the Michigan Wolverines’ anticipated 2025 Big Ten standings position, and more.
As the college football season approaches, it’s time to make preseason predictions. Michigan football is one of the most unpredictable teams in the Big Ten.

Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood (19) throws at warm up before the spring game at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Simply put, we have no idea how good Bryce Underwood will be.
Wide receivers and the offensive line are also under scrutiny.

But according to Athlon, Michigan football will place fourth in the Big Ten this year. According to Athlon, Penn State is predicted to win the league, which I find hard to believe until I see it happen. Ohio State and Oregon are not far behind.

Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, and Indiana are predicted to be in fifth and sixth place, respectively. The Michigan Wolverines are only expected to play Ohio State and Nebraska out of the top eight teams in the Athlon preseason rankings.

Michigan football is about to receive a commitment.
Sherrone Moore, the head coach of Michigan, hinted at a committment on social media on Sunday. It appears that U-M has added at least one defensive lineman, as Lou Esposito and a few other defensive line coaches were writing encouraging things as well.
