Canadian offensive lineman Albert Reese IV has confirmed on social media that he has signed an NFL undrafted free agent deal with the Carolina Panthers.

Reese IV spent five seasons at Mississippi State, appearing in 48 games and starting 22 times at right tackle. In 2025, Pro Football Focus credited him with allowing four sacks while also being flagged for four penalties, reflecting a relatively steady final collegiate campaign for a player of his size and experience.

At Mississippi State’s pro day, the 6-foot-7, 330-pound lineman posted strong testing numbers, including a 5.24-second 40-yard dash, 29 bench press reps at 225 pounds, and a 28-inch vertical jump.

He also measured with 34 7/8-inch arms, a desirable length for NFL offensive tackle prospects.

Reese comes from a football family. His father, Albert Reese III, was a defensive lineman who played 84 games over five seasons with the Edmonton Elks, recording 184 tackles and 17 sacks, and also appeared briefly for the San Francisco 49ers in 1997.

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Reese attended Harry Ainlay High School before transferring to Clearwater Academy International in Florida during the COVID-19 period.

He drew scholarship interest from several major programs, including Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and Maryland, before committing to Mississippi State.

The Panthers finished 8–9 last season and exited in the Wild Card round. Head coach Dave Canales enters his third season leading the team.
