Life in the National Hockey League often appears glamorous, but a recent social media post offered a humorous reminder that players are still very much human.
Over the weekend, Pittsburgh Penguins forward Rickard Rakell was playfully trolled by his wife, Emmeli Rakell, after a game.
She shared a photo of Rakell looking exhausted during a post-game interview, accompanied by a caption joking that his night wasn’t finished yet, as he still had laundry waiting for him at home.
Despite the weary look of a player who had given everything on the ice, Emmeli made it clear that household duties were still on the agenda. She later followed up with a second Instagram story, showing Rakell folding clothes, proving she had every intention of making good on her joke.
