The Alouettes’ 27-year-old QB has shared his fitness update and announced if he’ll be available for the Grey Cup matchup with Saskatchewan
Montreal Alouettes quarterback Davis Alexander isn’t concerned about his readiness for Sunday’s 112th Grey Cup showdown with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
After tweaking his hamstring in last weekend’s Eastern Final win over Hamilton, Alexander told reporters on Friday that he felt “way better than expected” following a workout in Winnipeg. “Don’t care if people believe me — we’ll see Sunday,” he added.

Fans can watch the 112th Grey Cup live at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT on TSN or via TSN.ca and the TSN App.
The 27-year-old threw for 210 yards, completing 19 of 26 passes with a touchdown and an interception against the Ticats.
Despite appearing in just eight games in 2025, Alexander delivered a breakout year, posting a career-best 2,024 passing yards along with 10 touchdowns and three picks.
