The Calgary Stampeders have officially signed all seven of their selections from the 2026 CFL Canadian Draft, securing the futures of linebacker Eric Rascoe, receiver Jesulayomi Ojutalayo, defensive lineman Tristan Marois, receiver Matt Sibley, offensive lineman Mitchel Schechinger, defensive lineman Steven Kpehe, and offensive lineman Jack Warrack.

The club has also added global talent, agreeing terms with kicker Jude McAtamney, who was selected sixth overall in the 2026 CFL Global Draft.

Draft class highlights

Rascoe arrives after a productive collegiate career at Angelo State, where he accumulated 225 tackles, multiple sacks, and several turnovers across five seasons. He also gained professional experience in the Indoor Football League with the San Antonio Gunslingers.

Ojutalayo joins after three strong seasons at Wilfrid Laurier, where he established himself as a reliable target with over 700 receiving yards and six touchdowns, earning conference all-star recognition.

Marois brings versatility on the defensive line, having played at Robert Morris before transferring to Colorado, where he contributed primarily on special teams while gaining defensive snaps.

Sibley adds depth at receiver and special teams, having recorded over 1,300 receiving yards with the Calgary Dinos, alongside significant production as a return specialist.

Schechinger strengthens the offensive line with an impressive résumé at Guelph, including multiple all-star honours and a national team selection, while also excelling as a collegiate wrestler.

Kpehe offers defensive presence from Queen’s, contributing consistently across four seasons with solid sack and tackle numbers.

Warrack, a local product from Strathmore, developed into a dependable offensive lineman with the Saskatchewan Huskies, earning conference honours and showcasing durability across multiple seasons.

Global addition

McAtamney adds international experience to the roster, having played in both college football and the NFL. After stints at Chowan and Rutgers, he went on to feature for the New York Giants, where he demonstrated reliability on field goals and kickoffs.
