Heartbreaking: Young Hockey Player passes away while traveling to Tournament
A devastating tragedy has rocked a Canadian hockey community. Last week, while traveling to a minor hockey tournament from Waskaganish to Ouje-Bougoumou in Northern Quebec, four children and their driver were involved in a serious accident.
Sadly, one young player lost their life on impact. Fred Sasakamoose shared the news on social media, describing the heartbreak felt across the Cree Nation.

While messages of support have poured in from hockey fans around the world, the pain for those affected is immeasurable.
