Why Pierre Crinon was banned for the remainder of the 2026 Winter Olympics by the French Hockey Federation
French defenseman Pierre Crinon has been hit with a shocking Olympic suspension after clashing with Canada’s Tom Wilson.
Following a fight in which both players received penalties, Crinon reportedly taunted fans as he left the ice, prompting the French Hockey Federation to ban him for the rest of the Games.

The federation described his actions as “a clear violation of the Olympic spirit,” highlighting that the star, who had faced a seven-game ban earlier this season, continues to court controversy.
